The Minnesota Trucking Association is devoted to being the voice for the trucking industry, and are committed to developing innovative and research-based policies that promote highway safety, educating policymakers and the public about the essential role that trucking plays in the economy and promoting responsible policies that advance the trucking industry’s environmental goals.
The Women in Trucking organization has been created for you, both men and women, who are either involved in the industry or have a career interest in being part of one of the largest networks of professionals in North America. Nearly one out of fourteen workers are already employed in jobs that support the transportation industry, but the need for drivers and other trucking professionals continues to increase.
Women in Trucking’s Mission: “Women in Trucking was established to encourage the employment of women in the trucking industry, promote their accomplishments and minimize obstacles faced by women working in the trucking industry.”

The ATA is the largest national trade association for the trucking industry, and their mission is to “effectively advocate and communicate efforts designed to improve safety and profitability for our members,” in accordance with the organization’s strategic plan and vision.
